Workshop Season

JAU Nashville 2011 "Lighting Demo"

This Workshop season was the best... Started off with a great week in Dallas at the Gloria Shield's All American Publications Workshop. Had our best class in a few years. Then on the day Dallas ended Mike and were back in the car heading to JAU Nashville for a very busy workshop there. This workshop is fun in its own right because its the only workshop where we have all adults.... Actually they are yearbook advisers and a lively bunch at that.. Always a great workshop. Then to Richmond for the workshop there at the University of Richmond. This is a small workshop but it is fun and the kids and staff are awesome. Their cafeteria at this place is soooooo good and university staff are very friendly. Thanks Shannon for a great week. Then to Concord, NC were we are in heaven... Embassy Suites and omelet bar every morning. Jostens staff here "ROCK" and we love you guys. Kids are always great here and had a great class of shooter this year. Our shooting assignment this year was at the National Whitewater Rafting/ Kayaking Center. Were the kids had tons of shooting opportunities with rafting, rock climbing, hiking, biking and ropes courses.

"Beauty and the Beast"

Well tonight I went to my nephew Matt's junior high school play.. Beauty and the Beast where he played the roll of Lumiere.. I was very impressed with how theatrical he was and the little girl that played Bell was really good too. By far they were the best in the play by my opinion... I know one day when Matt is world famous he will look back at this and laugh... I certainly did my fair share of laughing during the play... It was very entertaining and a joy to see my nephew do what he loves... I am very proud of him..
