We met Alan Doweys in Gloucester Harbor, MA. He is an Irish Native and has been a sailor his whole life. He is a really good guy and took us out on his boat so we could take a few pictures of him. He is planning on sailing around the world. Alan was a testament to the fact that people are rarely what you think they are if just make an effort to get to know them. To me Alan embodied the "Wandering Spirit" when he said "I just go where the wind blows me."
