Hi everyone... Well here it is! My P90X Results. I really love these workouts and I think I got pretty good results. I started out at 225lbs and little to no muscle tone. I started seeing results within 2 weeks and that just kept me going. By the end of phase 1 I had dropped about 25lbs. By the end of phase 2 I started to see my abs!! Also I could see that I was getting RIPPED!! By the end of phase 3 (which I still have week 13 to do, but its a recovery week) I started to gain a little weight. I was down to 185lbs and now I'm back to 190lbs. I would like to stay around 190 because that is were I feel the best (not too light). I don't like feeling like I will blow away in a stiff wind... But anyway, Val was really shocked the night she saw me. The first thing she said to me was "Holy crap you have lost a lot of weight!" The first few days home she couldn't keep her hands off me... I really don't know if that was the 4 months in Iraq or the way I looked????? Oh well I was just glad she was home!!! But back to my P90X.... I really liked this program because it was not gimmicky. It was just good old fashioned weight lifting 101. Although I really could not get into the yoga workout... I did the Cardio X in its place. So I still got a little yoga. But all in all I will keep doing these workouts and I will look into getting the P90X+ DVDs. I think I will start going back to the gym a few days a week to kinda mix it up a bit. So I don't get board with the same DVDs all the time. I think I will do the gym on cardio days because I feel I need a little more cardio than Kempo (just to loose my little pooch on my lower stomach) But these workouts were a total but kicker!!! I have never been so sore in my life. After the first month I actually liked the soreness to let me know I had a really good workout!!! I know "SICK" right?? I had a lot of support from my friends and family with my diet while I was in Texas for those 3 weeks over X-mas and New Years. My Mom was good about making the holiday meals healthy for everyone!!! Although I couldn't resist having some real TEX-MEX while there. Always have to get that fix!!!! But I will keep doing P90X and will post my day 120 images. Hope they look even better!!!
Great Job! How exciting for your wife to finally get to see the labor of all your hard work! You have a great balance about the whole thing. Sometimes I think Tony Horton and the P90X crew get a little overboard. I mean...ya, we wanna be fit but it's NOT my LIFE! Keep up the great work!
